My domain is about to expire or has already expired! What do I do?
Renewal of domain registrations can be performed through the controlling registrar where you originally registered the domain, so you should contact the registrar you used to register the domain for more information.
If you registered your domain through Whitewater Domain Services (formerly Summersault Domain Services), you can log into your account and renew your domain from there.
We try to avoid performing domain renewals on your behalf because of the legal/ownership and financial complications that can be introduced in this process.
Note that you should try to complete the renewal of your domain at least two weeks before the expiration date, to insure that there are no problems that create a risk of losing ownership of the domain. If you are transferring the domain from one registrar to another, you should not try to do this when the domain is about to expire, as there is a risk of the transfer failing and the renewal not going through.
If you still have questions or need assistance, please submit a technical support request.
