How do I handle security vulnerabilities in software I put on my site?

Summersault's Acceptable Use Policy prohibits you from making software available on your site that can be used to gain unauthorized access to Summersault's network and servers, or to conduct attacks of any kind against any systems. You are responsible for tracking and acting on security vulnerabilities advertised by third-party software vendors, and for installing any needed patches to secure that software.

If Summersault detects a vulnerable third-party software package, we reserve the right to disable it without warning within three business days of the publication of a vulnerability notice, if it has not been upgraded, patched, or disabled by you. You're also welcome to contact us to make arrangements to hire Summersault's programming staff to make any desired changes or upgrades, but until a development agreement is in place, you are still responsible for making the needed changes in the three day time period.
